Namaste.

It’s difficult now to remember the time before Tantra entered my life, into my practice in Denver, CO as a daka. In fact, it very much IS my life in body, breath, mind,  and soul.  I have always searched for deeper meanings which led me to earn degrees in both biology and psychology. Spiritually, the devotion to The Divine Mother appealed to me from a very young age and blossomed with my discovery of the Hindu goddess Kali to whom I became her devotee.  Daka is one of my titles as I have worn many hats as a result of my life’s journey, including scientist, Jungian psychotherapist, professional educator, yoga and meditation instructor, Pujari (Hindu priest), writer and author, Reiki master, YouTuber, spouse, and parent. Denver is home but I have traveled extensively throughout India and Nepal both as a spiritual pilgrim and as a volunteer teacher. In Tantra, I have learned to regard every part of my life as acts of devotion whether they involve work, helping others, creativity, acts of love, learning, teaching, and more!

The term “Tantra” has many meanings and applications.  Its root in Hinduism and Buddhism, and literally means “shaping”,  “weaving”, a “practice, or a “system.” Some in recent years regard it as the “yoga of ecstasy.”  For me, Tantra means “oneness.”  Oneness within yourself first, and then experiencing oneness with another person.  Eventually, these practices allow one to perceive that same oneness in all things and all persons. Tantra, therefore, is not merely a technique, but a way of being in connection which is where we find the most pleasure.

Daka is a healer and guide, a male Dakini.  My practice as a Daka is to remain present and grounded for you, to be an objective “listening post”, coach, guide, and facilitator for your growth. In this work, I create a safe, non-judgmental, supportive, and nurturing environment where one feels comfortable to explore his/her/their self within. I utilize the sensual energies within you, to address any blocked energy (traumas) that may exist; and to expand pleasure and positive energy.  The aim is for you to have greater access to pleasure within your body and a cleaner, chakra-balanced system free of energetic debris. Because energetic shifts can be felt on the visceral level, the positive effects of a Tantra session can be felt in the long term as they become integrated into your everyday life.

I invite you to join me in my healing temple located in southwest Denver. My Tantric sessions are designed as sacred transformative rituals which take place in a relaxing environment with candlelight and soothing music. In the course of our session, I use sensual Tantric massage, Reiki energy work, chakra balancing, aromatherapy, guided meditation, breathwork, healing stones, Tibetan singing bowls, and mantras to guide you into deep relaxation and a transformative state of balanced awareness. The results of our work together then carry over into your everyday life with reduced stress, new positive outlooks, expanded awareness, and a renewed feeling of empowerment.

In addition to my Tantric Services in Denver, CO, I am also available for personalized yoga and meditation instruction and coaching. My experience includes teaching Traditional Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, KundaliniYoga, and I specialize in Adaptive Yoga instruction for persons of all abilities.

I also lead personalized Yoga Nidra meditation sessions. My additional services also include Holotrophic and meditative breathwork sessions, Reiki Healing (both in-person and distance), as well as tarot and rune readings as an aid to greater personal insight. As part of a regular Tantra session, or during a separate appointment, you can also receive Diksha (initiation) into the practice of using a personalized mantra for self-empowerment and personal growth. I also offer initiation into the meditative practice of Kriya Yoga.

Our biological body itself is a form of hardware that needs re-programming through tantra like a new spiritual software which can release or unblock its potential.

The Tantric sages tell us that our in-breath and out-breath actually mirror the divine creative gesture. With inhalation, we draw into our own center, our own being. With the exhalation, we expand outward into the world.

The oblations and the worshipper by which verily the transcendental reality is worshipped are all one and the same. What then is this worship?
Prana and apana, having moved swiftly in a distinct direction, by the wish of kundalini, that great goddess stretches (elongates herself) and becomes the supreme place of pilgrimage of both manifest and unmanifest.
One who pursues and abides in this sacrifice which is full of supreme bliss attains by (the grace of) that goddess the supreme state of bhairava.
The breath is exhaled with the sound ‘Ha’ and inhaled again with the sound ‘Sa’. Thus the individual always repeats this particular mantra Hamsa.
This japa of the Devi which was previously indicated, (being repeated) twenty-one thousand six hundred times during the day and night, is easily available and difficult only for the ignorant.
